Academic Opportunities

Specialization:

Programs offers various specialisations in emerging areas, designed and developed in collaboration with professionals from industry/research organisations. Students can specialise by choosing the program elective courses in the focused area of study and can complete the specialisation within the program requirement.

B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Robotics and automation

Honors:

To deepen the knowledge in the chosen program by rigorous academic activity based on deep collaboration between students and faculty. Honors requires that the students choose course work beyond the program requirement and must be completed simultaneously with in program duration.

B.Tech (Honors), Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Robotics and automation

Minors:

To enhance the multidisciplinary knowledge and to complement the chosen program, students can choose courses from outside the school of the chosen program. Minor requires course work beyond the program requirement and must be completed simultaneously with in program duration.

B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering specialization in Robotics and automation with minors in Computer science and Engineering

Industry Collaborated Programs:

Institute offers innovative programs in collaboration with leading industries to meet the emerging industry requirements across all disciplines. In engineering disciplines in collaboration with IBM, Siemens, Automotive Research Association of India(ARAI) and Nano Chip Solutions cutting edge specializations are offered in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, electronics and communications engineering. In collaboration with TCS, industry relevant programs are designed in Bsc and B.COM.

Learn Through Practice

Learning through practice creates real interest for the students on courses with complex problem. Courses are designed with practical experiences (6 to 8 hours) apart from the lecture hours, that creates the most significant impact on the outcome of the students. The faculty mentors the students’ group to collaboratively solve more open-ended situations. Students are encouraged to pursue alternate learning strategies to acquire the competencies by solving the problems which makes the students more agile. https://soul.fossee.in/science-and-concept-map-project/completed-projects

Engagement With Society

The students are mandated to address the issues of society either by interacting with the community, visit the community and stay with the community, or by understanding community issues through media. Students in teams (from multiple disciplines) develop solutions either technical (System/Application/Product) or non-technical (process/ capacity enhancement) and deploy in the community. They also interact with the community on the effectiveness of their solution.

Multidisciplinary Experiences

Students can choose a variety of courses across multiple disciplines such as liberal arts, sciences, agriculture, engineering and architecture whatever the program they study. They develop experiences by collaboratively working in multidisciplinary teams for their design projects, competition and their capstone projects. The integrated campus environment (Class room, laboratories, international research center, faculty availability, hostels facilities) and the eco-system of the program curricula motivates the students to work in groups and provide solutions to real world situations
