ACM INDIA SPONSORED ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (ROCS)

About Workshop

The ACM INDIA ROCS Workshop is a specialized forum under the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) umbrella, focusing on topics related to modern systems’ development, reliability, and configurability. It serves as a platform for students, researchers, practitioners, and IT professionals to exchange ideas, insights, and solutions in reliable system design and operation.

ROCS (pronounced as ROCKS) is an ACM India initiative to expose undergraduate students in (mainly aspiring) colleges to exciting research happening in the country in various areas of computer science. The hope is to inspire at least a few of them to choose a career in research in industry or academics. This workshop have an interactive (”Ask me Anything”) session to discuss questions from the participants, talks outlining entry procedures in various institutions, and a panel discussion among the speakers.

About KARE ACM & KARE ACM-W Student Chapter, Madurai ACM Professional Chapter

KARE ACM has been established as an international chapter, the KARE ACM Student Chapter has been a vibrant community since its inception. With over 1000 dedicated members, we stand as the largest chapter within our university. Our primary mission is cultivating an enduring passion for computer science among students, and fostering personal and professional growth. We attained the remarkable achievements by organizing a wide array of events and activities, frequently enhancing and developing skills in our students community.
