Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) formerly Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering was established in 1984 by the pioneering Kalasalingam Anandam Ammal Charities. Located at the pristine foothills of scenic Western Ghats, the college obtained the Deemed to be University status in 2006.
The Institution has been serving the society for more than three decades and caters to the needs of the students from all walks of the society. KARE offers UG, PG and PhD programmes in various fields of Architecture, Agriculture, Engineering, Arts, Science and Management. It is the first Institution in India to introduce a special B.Tech programme in engineering for the differently able (speech and hearing impaired) students. The Institution has been re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A++’ grade. 8 UG and 3 PG programmes have been accredited by NBA under Tier-1 and 12 UG programs have been accredited by ABET, USA. Apart from this, B.Sc. (Hons.) programme in Horticulture under is accredited by ICAR. The Institution continues to do indefatigable work in receiving projects and research centers. It has received DST funding to establish the National Center for Advance Research in Discrete Mathematics. KARE has got the state-of-the-art research facility with splendid high-end instruments for advanced research in material sciences and life sciences. Multistoried separate hostels with plenty of facilities provide accommodation to thousands of students.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is accredited by NBA and ABET for a period of six years. The department has the state-of-the-art facilities for research through the laboratories namely Materials Processing Laboratory, Advanced Machining & Measurement Laboratory, Machine Dynamics & Condition Monitoring Laboratory, Bio composite Laboratory, Surface Engineering Laboratory and Centre for Advanced Thermal Studies. The department has close interactions with the leading industries for research, development and consultancy. The school has made pioneering and definite contributions in the thrust areas of design, thermal, manufacturing, materials, energy and industrial engineering.

1. The abstract of the accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will have an ISBN number.
2. After a careful reviewing process as per the conference norms, the selected full-length papers will be published in Scopus indexed conference proceedings /journal.
Papers submitted should not be previously published in another forum. The authors willing to present papers in the conference are requested to submit the full-length paper in .doc format, not exceeding 10 printed/typed pages by e-mail as an attachment on or before the deadline. All papers will be reviewed by the field experts. The corresponding author of selected paper will be intimated through e-mail only. Presentation in the conference will be in hybrid mode.
Papers received after the deadline may not be included in the conference proceedings. The paper registered for the conference must be presented by one of the authors in the conference. Certificate of participation/presentation will be issued to the registered delegates/authors attending the conference.
