Kalasalingam University Collaborated with IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial Program.This MoU providing opportunity to conduct software Training Program, free of cost to all the University Departments of Kalasalingam University.
The Spoken Tutorial activity is funded by the National Mission on Education through ICT ,MHRD,Government of India and run out of IIT Bombay.

KOREA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY & EDUCATION (KOREATECH), SOUTH KOREA
Kalasalingam University has signed a Memorandum o f Understanding (MoU ) with Korea University of Technology and Education (KORE TECH), South Korea for academic and research collaboration on 23rd June 2015. This MoU facilitates the exchange of faculty members, exchange of students, joint research programs and holding joint international conferences.KOREATECH was established by the goverment of South Korea (Ministry o f Labor) in 1991 based on the educational philosophy of “practice – based truth pursuit ,” with a focus on engineering and human resource development. Through a house-designed “KOREATECH engineering education model,” it offers a 50:50 combination of theory and practice, with a strong emphasis on developing talents with strengths in practice.Thiru. K.Sridharan, Chancellor, Kalasalingam University has signed the MoU on behalf of Kalasalingam University in the presence of Dr.S.Saravana Sankar, Vice-Chancellor Kalasalingam University. Dr . Ki-Young Kim, President of KOREATECH has signed on behalf of the Korean University of Technology and Education, South Korea.Dr. Kyung- Tae KIM, Senior Professor, Dept. of ECE ,Kalasalingam University, co-ordinated this program.
University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy
Kalasalingam University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy for Research, Faculty and Student Exchange.This will enable researchers and students from Kalasalingam University to work with the research groups in University of Sannio and take up higher degree courses in the University.The Universities will also use Erasmus and other funding mechanisms as part of the collaboration.The Chancellor of Kalasalingam UniversityMr. K. Sridharan signed the MoU on behalf of Kalasalingam University along with Dr.Arivalagi ,director ,Anand Institute of Technology ,Chennai and Prof.Seshadhri Srinivasan.From the Italian side, Filippo de Rossi, Rector, University of Sannio and Prof. Luigi Glielmo signed the agreement.As a first step of collaboration, Prof. Luigi Glielmo has been extended an invitation from Kalasalingam University to visit the University and conduct a course to share his experience on control and optimization with application to energy grids for the benefit of Indian students.Chancellor K. Shridharan said that such efforts are continuation of the determination of the University to improve the quality of education and research. Further, added that the collaboration will be strengthened by University level exchanges.

Monday, 29th June, 2015: The Kalasalingam University (KLU) has signed an MoU with the Bengaluru based Tessolve Semiconductor (a leading Semiconductor engineering services company in India) to offer advanced M.Tech programme in VLSI Design, Test and Manufacturing. The key objective of the MoU is to bridge the gap between theory and practice and make education a more meaningful tool to meet the challenges in the competitive world. Through this robust practical training approach (paid internship based learning module), the MoU would focus on making way for a solid practical training on-ground in addition to the theoretical learning on campus.MOU has been signed between Kalasalingam University Chancellor Mr K.Sridharan and Mr Srinivas Chinamilli – Co-Founder & President Tessolve Semiconductor.The curriculum has been designed by Tessolve Semi-conductor in close consultation with KLU anticipating the current and future industry trends. During the internship programme a stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month will be provided for GATE qualified students, TANCET toppers and University rank holders during first 3 semesters. After the successful completion of the on-campus selection process, the students will be absorbed by Tessolve Semiconductor for an 8 month internship project in Bangalore with a remuneration of 25000/ – per month after due monitoring. Under the aegis of the MoU, specialized courses would be taught by global experts from Industry and overseas universities in the field. In addition, Tessolve will repay the loans availed by the students after being successfully absorbed by the company. The selection process would be based on an online written test.

For research collaboration in abrasive water jet machining.Mr.Stephen Das Manager and Mr.T.Ravikumar Quality Engineer of V V Minerals Tisayanvilai have visited the center for Advanced Machining in international research centre at Kalasalingam University .Dr.M.Uthayakumar welcome the visitors and had interaction for the possible research collaboration in abrasive waterjet machining.They also submitted for the expression of interest in this regard. And accepted to sign MoU with Kalasalingam University.Dr. Rajini , HOD Mechanical Engg., discussed with them and explained all the facilities in Composite Materials Research Center.

Arumugam, Director (n-CARDMATH), Kalasalingam University visited on invitation to University of Brawijaya, Indonesia, Institute Technologi Bandung, Indonesia,Universitas Jember, Jember, Indonesia, And Hasanuddin University, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia for 20 days from 16-9-2015 to 4-10-2015.
He gave talks in six different conferences held in the all Institutions. On Applications of signed Graphs to Portfolio Turnover Analysis. Local antimagic Chromatic Number of a Graph Distance Magic Labelings in Graphs Three Lectures on Labelings, Domination and Social Networks, Ethics in Research Publications and Visual Cryptography.
He presented a paper entitled “Applications of signed Graphs to Portfolio Turnover analysis” in the 2nd global conference on Business and Social Science held at ASTON Denpasar Hotel and Convention Centre Bali, Indonesia during set 17-18, 2015, Delivered an invited talk on “Local Antimagic Chromatic Number of a Graph” in the International Conference on Graph Theory and Information Security at Institute Technology Bandung, Indonesia during Sep 21-13, 2015,And delivered invited talk on “Distance Magic Labelings in Graphs” in the Graph Master Workshop at University Jember, Jember East Java, Indonesia during Sep 25-26, 2015.He also delivered three invited talks on Labelings, Domination and Social Networks in the SEAMS school on coding and Graphs at Hasanuddin University , Makassar, south Sulawesi, Indonesia during 28th September – 6th OCTOBER 2015 .
Delivered an invited talk on “Ethics in Research Publications” in the Workshop for Writing Computer-Science -related Articles in International publication at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia on 29th Sep 2015.And Delivered an invited talk on “Visual Cryptography” in the International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science , Mathematics Education (ICMSCSME) at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia on 2nd October 2015.Some of the above mentioned people are research scholar and he is expecting collaboration with all of them . As an outcome of this visit he has signed and MOU with Global Academy of Training and Research (GATR, Kula Lumpur ) and university shall be joint organizers of all future conferences and training programmes organized by GATR in various countries around the world.
KLU Staff Visited Yeungnam University, Korea and signed MoU
Dr.M.Uthayakumar, Professor & Head Department of Automobile Engineering, Kalasalingam University went to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Yeungnam University, Korea as visiting Professor during November 2015. He was invited by Dr.Tae Jo Ko, Professor & Dean Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Yeungnam University, Korea. During the visit he delivered lecture to the students on advance Machining and also interacted with professors and Researchers of similar interest group on the research aspect in the area of Advance Machining. He also initiated a Memorandum of Understanding between Kalasalingam University and Yeungnam University on student exchange.
