KLU IRC Faculty invited for participation in international Conference on Antiviral Research(ICAR) at US

29th international  Conference on Antiviral Research, San Diego, USA

Dr.P.Selvam M.Pharm.Ph.D.,  FNABS.,  Research  faculty, International Research centre, kalasalingam University, Krishnanoil invited for participation in 29thinternational  Conference on Antiviral Research(ICAR) organized by International Society for Antiviral Research (ISAR) April 17-21,2016, La Jolla, San Diego, CA, USA. He presented research papers entitled “New era in eradication of HCV viral Infection” and “Identification chemical constituents of Morinda citrifolia Fruit By HPTLC”. He received international travel grant from Dept of Biotechnology, Govt of India and financial support from SIPRA LABS, Hyderabad and Bharat Ratna Kamarajar Liver Hospital and Research Centre Madurai.  He also visited Scripp Research Institute and SKagg School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of California, San Diego, USA.

Dr.P.Selvam Member of International Society for Antiviral Research (ISAR) from 2006 and presented more than 50 research abstracts in last 10 international Conference on Antiviral Research (ICAR) meetings. He visited USA, Japan, Bulgaria, Canada and Italy for research paper presentation research papers in ICAR conference. His research interest is antiviral drug design and discovery and identification of novel antiviral agents from natural source and Synthetic chemistry, He published more than 50 research papers in the area of antiviral drug discovery.  His very important area of Research work on Designing of Novel Inhibitors of HIV integrase and HIV IN/LEDGF, Which are very important for HIV replication.  Chancellor Dr.K.Sridharan, Director  Dr.S.Shasi Anand and Vice Chancellor Dr. Saravana Sankar appreciated the efforts of Dr.P.Selvam in the area of antiviral Chemistry.
